THE RESORT

Quivira occupies the land’s-end drama of the peninsula — 1,850 gated acres where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. Three miles of beach, and the 1905 lighthouse still standing watch above the cliffside golf course.   St. Regis is the original luxury hotel brand — founded by John Jacob Astor IV in New York in 1904 — and its residential promise is ritual: the butler culture, the anticipatory service, the sense that the house simply runs. Here that heritage takes a Pacific address, with architecture by SB Architects and interiors by HBA that keep the drama outside the glass where it belongs.

AMENITIES & SERVICES

The resort carries a full complement: seven oceanfront pools, a ten-room destination spa, a fitness and wellness house, and three dining venues — led by a signature beachfront restaurant under Chef Carlos Gaytán, the first Mexican national to earn a Michelin star — all open to residence owners, attended by the brand’s famous butlers. The Pacific here is for watching rather than wading, and the property is built to that truth: saltwater lagoon, pool decks, and terraces all aimed at the horizon and its whales.

Ownership reaches beyond the gates of the resort. Owners have privileged access to Quivira Golf Club — the Jack Nicklaus Signature course whose clifftop holes above the Pacific are among the most photographed in the game — and Quivira ownership carries its privileges across the wider community, from the owners’ beach club to the resources of the surrounding Pueblo Bonito resorts. The home itself runs on St. Regis service, with an optional rental and management program handled by the brand — and homes never enrolled stay entirely private. The program is a choice, not a default.

The Residences

The collection is limited to seventy-four residences beneath the lighthouse hill: three- and four-bedroom oceanview condominiums — penthouses among them — rising behind a front row of direct-oceanfront villas of five bedrooms and more, each sited so the Pacific fills every principal room. Finishes run to the standard the brand demands, terraces are built for the sunset hour, and every home carries the full weight of the resort’s services behind it.

Cameron's Perspective

I don’t have to research this one — I led the pre-opening sales of these residences. I set the launch pricing, built the sales program, and represented the villa sale The Wall Street Journal reported as the Pacific coast’s record. I know what every floor plan was designed to do and which ones do it best — and why the lighthouse hill sites hold their value. If you’re considering St. Regis, you’re talking to the person who priced it, now sitting entirely on your side of the table.

homes — and what I’d pay attention to now.
