The Wall Street Journal covered one of my Los Cabos closings: a $15.5 million oceanfront villa at the Residences at The St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira, the largest of ten villas in the development and, at the time, the priciest transaction on the Pacific side of the peninsula.

The number that stood out in Sarah Paynter’s reporting: it is estimated the same home would have cost 40% more on the Sea of Cortez side. That gap has been closing fast. Branded residences are a big reason why.
